ADK Kooling is looking for a Senior Refrigeration and Air-conditioning engineer to work around London and the South East.
This role is for a responsible and experienced service engineer for carrying out reactive service work and planned preventative maintenance. Servicing, diagnosing and repairing of air conditioning and refrigeration systems including ice machines, cellar coolers and cold rooms across London and the South East. The engineer must have at least 7 years experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment including walk in cold and freezer rooms, ice machines, VRV and VRF systems, display systems and under counter units.
2- Stock and vehicle management
3- Managing jobs and carrying out work in a productive manner
Key Technical Skills Required
1- Extensive experience in air conditioning and refrigeration roles with strong diagnostic and fault finding skills coupled with the ability to adapt easily to different situations and environments
2- F-Gas qualified
3- Full clean UK driving licence
4- Strong IT skills for submission of job reports, timesheets, self-service processes and queries via emails
5- Health and Safety qualification

1- Work on own initiative and under pressure
2- Be prepared to learn new things about the trade all the time
3- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
4- Excellent customer service and communication skills
5- Multi-Tasker with prioritisation skills
6- Confident and approachable personality

8- Proactive and intelligent approach to tasks
9- Attention to detail
10 - Quick learner in regards to understanding the company and ethos/business acumen
11- Desire to understand the company coupled with good solid business acumen
Remuneration and Benefits:
Up to £38K pa (depending on skills and experience)
28 days annual leave (including public holidays) increasing to maximum of 33 at 10 years of service
4 weeks annual leave after 10 years’ service (one off benefit)
Company van tools (large tools only)
Company communication device
Company uniform and personal protective equipment
Training opportunities with major manufactures (during the winter months)
Rates of Pay:
Monday to Friday day time 7 am to 7 pm – basic rate
Sundays and Bank Holidays – basic rate x 1.5
Saturdays – basic rate x 1.5
1 week On call every month (this is all inclusive on your Salary)
Overtime is applicable to work done out of on call and after 7pm during weekdays.
