Interaction Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Baston, who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join their expanding team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced logistics professional or strong administrator looking to take the next step in their career. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the logistics and dispatch process, supporting both internal teams and customers to maintain an efficient and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out administrative tasks within the Logistics department to ensure delivery schedules are met.
2. Coordinate the dispatch and collection of export orders, completing all customs documentation accurately and on time.
3. Manage and process daily outgoing deliveries.
4. Organise and schedule customer collections, maintaining clear communication with customers throughout.
5. Deliver excellent customer service within the Logistics department, ensuring all queries are handled promptly and professionally.
6. Raise purchase orders and process departmental invoices in line with company procedures.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, delivery notes, and customer order information.
8. Identify and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency and workflow within the department.
9. Provide general administrative support to the Logistics team, assisting during busy seasonal periods as required.
Skills & Experience Required
10. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a logistics or transport administration role (required).
11. Excellent organisational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
12. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
13. Confident working both independently and as part of a team.
14. Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
15. A proactive and positive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours
Full-time, 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Some flexibility may be required during peak operational periods (Spring/Summer).
