About the Opportunity
An early-stage startup is building the only platform for self-improving voice AI agents. After closing a $4.7M seed round, the company has experienced rapid growth, particularly in the home improvement vertical. They are preparing to raise Series A this year, making it a perfect time to join pre-raise and be part of the company's next stage of growth.
They are now looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to take ownership of client deployments and play a key role in shaping both the product and customer experience.
The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will:
1. Own end-to-end technical deployments for clients, integrating our AI platform into their workflows.
2. Build demos, prototypes, and custom solutions to meet customer needs.
3. Ship optimizations, scripts, and cloud-based functions (Azure) to improve system performance and automation.
4. Collaborate closely with the product team to translate customer feedback into real product improvements.
5. Travel within the US (~2x/month) to support on-site deployments and client success.
6. Solve real-world problems using Python, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have:
7. Strong Python skills and experience building production-grade solutions.
8. Some technical background or familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with clients.

Qualifications
12. 2+ years of experience in a business or technical role (startups, consulting, or product-facing positions).
13. Experience working in small, fast-moving teams (< employees) preferred.
14. Comfortable with frequent travel and client-facing responsibilities.
