Salary: Negotiable Working Hours: Mon-Thurs (8-4) – 1pm finish on a Friday We are looking for candidates with experience in buying/purchasing in manufacturing and engineering environments to join a world leader in engineering technology, in a role that is critical to the success of the supply chain. This is a global engineering powerhouse with decades of experience, and you’ll have to work at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility alongside an established procurement team. You will cover both strategic procurement activities, as well as supplier management. Covering a PSL of approx. 450, where you’ll obtain quotes, negotiate prices, generate purchase orders and effectively support cost reduction What are we looking for? Min 2 years within buying/purchasing for a manufacturing business, using MRP/ERP systems Experience with supplier management Any technical qualifications/CIPS would be advantageous Personality: Eager to learn, excellent communication skills and calm under pressureWhat’s in it for you?
