Job TypeContract/TemporaryLocationLondonNegotiableJob RefBBBH176056_1774625404Date AddedMarch 27th, 2026ConsultantWe are currently recruiting for a Director - Crisis Management & Scenario Testing to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.Inside IR35Hybrid- London basedResponsibilitiesLead the global crisis management strategy, governance, escalation processes and response frameworkDesign and deliver the global scenario testing programme (tabletops, drills, supplier exercises)Facilitate real‑time response to major disruption events, chairing crisis calls and coordinating cross‑functional teamsOversee client and regulatory communications during incidentsMaintain crisis playbooks, decision logs, and audit‑ready documentationPartner with Technology, Risk, Operations and senior leaders to strengthen organisational readinessDeliver training, awareness and ongoing improvements to crisis response capabilityProduce executive-level reporting on crisis trends, lessons learned and remediationQualifications10+ years leading enterprise-wide crisis management in a global organisationProven experience managing major incidents across multiple regions and time zonesStrong understanding of operational resilience regulations (FCA, DORA, NIST, etc.)Experience designing and running crisis scenarios and testing programmesExcellent communication skills, able to brief executives, boards and regulatorsFinancial services background required; insurance experience preferredCertifications such as CBCP, MBCI or DRI are an advantageGuidant, Carbon60, Lorien & SRG - The Impellam Group Portfolio are acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
