Key Stage 1 Teacher (KS1)
Location: Exeter area, Devon (partner school placement)Salary: Paid to scaleContract: Full-Time, Long-TermStart Date: September 2026
A Key Stage 1 Teacher is required for a full-time, long-term position within a partner primary school in the Exeter area, starting September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment with a strong focus on pupil development and high-quality teaching and learning.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging KS1 lessons and contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1
* Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
* Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (ECTs with relevant KS1 experience considered)
* Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
* A creative, nurturing and proactive teaching approach
* Commitment to supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
