SEN Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support (Cumbria)
Location: Cumbria
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 or Small Group Support
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience and role

Responsibilities
* Support students with SEMH and additional needs in an educational setting
* Provide 1:1 and group support, both academically and emotionally
* Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Assist with personalised learning plans and therapeutic approaches
* Work closely with teaching staff and pastoral teams
* Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
About You
* Experience working with children with SEMH, trauma, or challenging behaviour
* Resilient, calm and confident under pressure
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to build positive and consistent relationships with pupils
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage
* Team Teach or similar behaviour management training is desirable (training can be arranged)
