The Role:
We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a busy and friendly customer service team. This is a varied role combining customer service and delivery scheduling, ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating logistics, communicating with customers, and working as part of a fast-paced operational environment.
The position is based in the St Ives area and is a permanent, full-time role. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales, warehouse, transport, and accounts teams to ensure orders, payments, and deliveries are processed accurately and on time. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team environment.
Due to the location of this company you will need your own transport.
Main Responsibilities:

Communicating with customers via phone and email
*
Requesting and processing customer payments
*
Scheduling collections from warehouses and showrooms
*
Scheduling customer deliveries and updating delivery calendars
*
Raising dispatch notes where required
*
Liaising with warehouse, transport, sales, and accounts teams
*
Routing delivery vehicles and coordinating with suppliers for direct deliveries or bespoke installations
*
Advising customers of product delays that may impact delivery times
*
Accurately recording payment confirmations against customer orders
*
Working collaboratively to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
Skills / Experience:
*
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
*
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
*
Confident communicating with customers and internal departments
*
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
*
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
*
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
*
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary & Working Hours:
*
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)
*
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
