Location:
On-Site in Bedford, MA
This Role:
Responsible for the processing, reconciling, and communication of assigned clients related to Unable to Code charts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work independently to perform daily assignments and assist with additional QA tasks such as EMR searching, New Hire RAI reports, and LHI search results.
2. Collaborate closely with Team Lead and Supervisor to support the MR Deficiency daily workflow processes.
3. Proficiently search among various client Electronic Medical Record systems, ensuring documentation completes the process.
4. Send provider messages via EMR and Outlook email; monitor and respond promptly.
5. Evaluate and train new and existing Medical Records staff as needed.
6. Monitor and update LogixRequest client comments daily.
7. Prepare accurate RAI reports for clients and send encrypted to designated contacts.
8. Audit documentation for accuracy, reconcile with RAI reports, and escalate issues as needed.
9. Review RAI responses within 24 hours and notify management of discrepancies.
10. Communicate with healthcare professionals to obtain additional information or clarify questions.
11. Report issues with files, such as format changes or corruption, to management.
12. Adhere to the Code of Conduct and compliance policies.
13. Report breaches or issues to Supervisor/Manager to ensure patient HPI protection.
Qualifications:
To perform successfully, candidates must meet the following requirements:
* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Teams.
* Intermediate hardware and software knowledge.
* Ability to suggest workflow or system improvements.
* Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
* Detail-oriented with proficiency in navigating medical records across platforms.
* Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Common sense application to instructions.
Preferred:
* Two to three years of related experience.
