This is an outstanding career opportunity with a market leader committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve. Reporting to the Assistant Regional Director, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the effective management of this challenging contract, ensuring the highest service standards possible. The post holder will ensure that the service provided meets the requirements of the client as defined within the service specification, as well as consistently driving the commercial performance of the site whilst being sensitive to the conservation aspects of the park.
Rufford Country Park is a beautiful country park in Nottinghamshire steeped in history. Parkwood Leisure, working with Legacy and Lex Leisure, is seeking an innovative, committed individual to take this jewel in the crown in Nottinghamshire to the next level as a visitor attraction, building on successes implemented since Parkwood Leisure took over the contract in 2017. Responsibilities
* Take full responsibility for the effective management of the contract to ensure the highest service standards.
* Ensure the service provided meets client requirements as defined within the service specification.
* Drive the commercial performance of the site while remaining sensitive to conservation aspects of the park.
Qualifications
* Recognised management qualification (preferably at degree level).
* Track record of managing busy visitor attractions or a strong leisure sector background.
* Experience or awareness of Local Authority contract management is desirable.
