EA to CEO (Welsh and English fluency) Cardiff | Hybrid £45,000–£50,000 generous benefits A new, purpose-driven investment management company launching in 2026 to serve the eight Welsh Local Government Pension Scheme funds, building a world-class institution with Welsh values at its heart. We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant & Office Manager to work directly with the CEO and help shape this new organisation from the ground up. This is a role for someone who thrives at the centre of it all, trusted, proactive, and deeply organised, the kind of partner who keeps the CEO focused on what matters most while ensuring the Cardiff headquarters runs seamlessly. It’s not about diary management alone; it’s about creating rhythm, structure and impact. You’ll be the face of the organisation to senior stakeholders, from government and regulators to investment partners, setting the tone with polish and professionalism every time. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level executive support to the CEO — managing priorities, communication and time with sharp judgement and absolute discretion. Act as first point of contact for all senior stakeholders, handling every interaction with warmth, clarity and professionalism. Coordinate high-profile meetings and events, including Board, FCA and Government sessions, ensuring every detail is thought through. Take full ownership of the Cardiff headquarters — overseeing facilities, suppliers and budgets, and creating an environment that reflects pride and purpose. Guard the integrity of confidential information and governance documentation with precision and care. Help shape and sustain a workplace culture rooted in trust, professionalism and Welsh identity. About You Proven experience supporting a senior leader or CEO in a complex or high-profile organisation. Exceptionally organised and proactive — you anticipate needs and bring clarity to competing priorities. Confident communicator, credible with senior stakeholders and comfortable representing at all levels. Strong operational and administrative capability — able to manage suppliers, budgets and systems effectively. Digitally fluent across Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools. Professional fluency in both Welsh and English is essential, with excellent written and verbal skills in both. Warm, grounded and motivated by purpose — someone who takes pride in getting things right and building something that lasts.
