At Hampton Care Home, we believe life in a care home should be filled with joy, connection, and purpose. That’s why we’re looking for a warm, creative and people-focused Activities Assistant to help us deliver a varied and engaging programme of activities that truly enrich our residents’ lives.
Role: Activities Assistant
Location: Upper Sunbury Road, Hampton, Middlesex, TW12 2DW
Salary: £12.53 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week, rota-based across the week including some weekends
What You’ll Be Doing
* Helping deliver a creative and engaging activities programme
* Supporting both group events and 1:1 sessions based on individual interests and abilities
* Building positive relationships with residents and getting to know their likes and dislikes
* Encouraging participation and promoting independence wherever possible
* Taking photos of events for families, newsletters and social media updates
* Supporting with social media content and liaising with the marketing team
* Reaching out to local performers, volunteers and organisations to enhance the activity schedule
* Working flexibly as part of the wider team, with availability to work some weekends
