We have an exceptional opportunity for an inspiring individual to become the Executive Director of Nursing and join us at a critical time of reform within the NHS, as the Integrated Care Board undergoes significant organisational change.
The successful candidate would support the development and delivery of the strategy and plan of the Integrated Care Board, focussing on the role of a Strategic Commissioner and associated responsibilities for quality, safety and outcomes, and ensuring that commissioning intentions are informed by the needs of the population.
You will provide credible and outstanding leadership across the NHS and the wider health and social care system to ensure the best possible standards of healthcare and clinical practice on behalf of the population. You will be a Director of the Integrated Care Board and would also participate in a regular on‑call rota.

Qualifications
* Master’s level degree qualification in a relevant field or demonstrable experience.
* Registered Nurse.
* Current valid registration and revalidation with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Experience
* Substantial board level leadership experience and system leadership experience within a regulatory or similar environment is essential.
* Experience of managing highly sensitive situations with stakeholders.
* Substantial experience of good governance.
* Experience of managing relationships with the media and political stakeholders.
* Experience of providing clinical leadership, mentorship, and professional development at a very senior level with demonstrable outcomes.
