Overview
Chef de Partie (Paternity Cover) at Lufthansa Lounge Heathrow Airport T2. Follow set portion control, prepare, cook and assemble menus aligned to client environment and centrally driven menus and promotions where appropriate. Ensure all food is stored, handled and packed at the correct temperature and in accordance with Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations. Maintain records of temperatures and remedial action taken where necessary, reporting all issues to your line manager. Serve on the food counters in the client\'s premises following all customer service standards. Use machinery as shown and trained to ensure equipment is used safely and in accordance with legislation, and report equipment issues to your line manager. Ensure work areas are kept clean and that all waste is recorded and disposed of correctly. Be competent and skilled to work in all areas of preparation, cook and counter service. Ensure the quality and the presentation of the food is to the highest standard and follows all specification sheets agreed by the Client.
Responsibilities
* Work across all areas of preparation, cooking and counter service as required.
* Follow client service standards while on duty and maintain high levels of food quality and presentation.
* Maintain temperature controls, storage, handling and packing per Food Handling and Hygiene Regulations; complete and report temperature records and remedial actions as needed.
* Operate and maintain equipment safely; report any faults to line management.
* Keep work areas clean; record and dispose of waste correctly; follow cleaning schedules and COSHH standards.
* Adhere to company policies and client objectives; participate in training as required.
* Deliver customer-focused service; be approachable and proactive in meeting guest needs.
* Contribute to a collaborative team environment; support colleagues and duties in kitchen and service areas as requested.
* Attend health & safety and food safety training; comply with policies related to deliveries, storage, quality, quantity and temperature.
* Complete production, wastage and temperature records; report discrepancies to Supervisor/Duty Manager or Sodexo management.
* Ensure products are date coded, stock rotated and labelled; follow shelf-life rules; maintain area cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications
* Essential: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie.
* Essential: Kitchen experience and knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
* Essential: Highly motivated, organised with attention to detail.
* Desirable: Lounge experience.

Contract Details
* 40 hours per week - 1st October 2025 to 31st March 2026
* £15.75 per hour
* Casual contract
* Shift Pattern: 4 on and 2 off (2 early and 2 late)
* Timings: 4am–1pm (early) and 1pm–10pm (late)
* Opportunities to work in other lounges
