Application & Systems Support Engineer
Weareseekingahighlyorganisedanddetail-oriented Application & Systems Support Engineertojoinourteam.Thisrolefocusesonprovidingexpert-levelsupportacrossMicrosoft365services—particularlyEntraID,SharePoint,andPowerShellscripting.
The ideal candidate will combine technical support capabilities with strong client-facing communication, showing initiative in solving problems and managing processes from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Onboarding & Implementation
* Support initial setup of client environments, including user accounts and site configurations.
* Troubleshoot onboarding issues (e.g. Entra ID permissions, SharePoint configurations).
* Act as liaison between clients and development teams to escalate and resolve issues.
* Advise on Microsoft 365 tenancy best practices.
* Assist with data import into SharePoint, resolving any issues that arise.
* Execute PowerShell scripts for bulk changes across customer environments.
2. Technical Support & Automation
* Serve as an internal escalation point for 1st Line Support queries.
* Collaborate with the Support team on resolving complex Microsoft 365-related issues.
* Automate routine or repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
3. Documentation & Knowledge Management
* Maintain internal knowledge bases and troubleshooting documentation.
* Ensure accurate recording of client tenancy configurations and technical notes.

* Proven ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach to tasks.
* Experience managing multiple concurrent projects to tight deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confident in leading meetings and presenting solutions to clients.
* Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Essential Experience
* Microsoft SharePoint – Advanced understanding of site configurations and permission management.
* Microsoft Entra ID – Experience with identity and access management and tenant setup.
* PowerShell – Proficient in scripting and task automation.
Desirable Knowledge
* Microsoft Exchange Online
* Microsoft Purview
* Microsoft Teams
* Microsoft Copilot
