About The Role
What will you be doing?
1. You will work closely with our operational and commercial teams
2. Provide technical support during the pre-construction and construction phase where necessary
3. You’ll report to the Contracts Manager and will be familiar with airports engineering and assurance processes
4. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality solutions are produced by the consultants that are practical to build, cost efficient and delivered in a timely manner
5. A combination of home and office-based working with some travel to Project sites and their other regional offices where necessary
About You
What you’ll bring:
6. Hold an engineering degree
7. Be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
8. Demonstrable experience in a similar role within aviation and infrastructure
9. Have a background with aviation engineering consultancy or contractor and be keen to pursue a career in design management with a contractor
10. Enjoy working as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment and can recognise the importance of value engineering, buildability, cost control and programme in the management of design and construction projects, without detracting from the project brief
11. Have excellent communication and Client relationship skills
