The corporate Learning and Development team within People and Culture is seeking to recruit a training coordinator for an exciting and rewarding opportunity to support the work of the team.
About the role
As the team's remit grows, we are looking for a coordinator to:
* Manage the roll-out of training programmes
* Take a lead role in maintaining and updating our existing learning management system (DEL)
* Work with our DEL administrators to follow best practice guidance
* Support our learner queries through our team mailbox
* Coordinate learning events
* Develop our publicity material and articles
* Get involved in a range of different corporate-wide and bespoke training activities

About you
We are looking for an innovative, highly motivated person with strong communication and organisational skills to be part of our L&D Team.
You will also need:
* Good interpersonal skills
* Accuracy with attention to detail
* Able to work well as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative
* Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid-working environment
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and meet deadlines
* Competent and experienced user of Microsoft 365: SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
* Experience of administering a learning management system and working in a learning environment would be preferred
This vacancy is 0.8 FTE (29.6 hours) over 4/5 days per week and is a permanent role. It offers hybrid home/office working, with office-based time dependent on the team's demands. The role will report to the Learning and Development Manager.
