Are you a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to 400kV?
An opportunity has arisen to act as the HV authority for large-scale, transmission-connected energy assets forming part of one of the UK’s largest BESS portfolios.
This is a transmission-level operational authority role.
You will:
* Operate as a Senior Authorised Person up to 400kV
* Own and develop HV safety rules and switching regimes
* Act as HV SME for grid interfaces, protection, and operational integrity
* Set standards that will scale across a multi-gigawatt portfolio
1. You will bring:
* Current or recent SAP authorisation to 400kV
* Experience writing or materially shaping HV safety rules
* Operational experience within transmission, DNO, or large-scale generation
* The credibility to challenge and uphold standards under pressure
