We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of the IT Channel with a upbeat can do personality with good attention to detail. Our client a well known manufacturer of computing technology is keen to find a new distribution account manager to join their team and manage the relationship with several distribution partners.
This is an ideal role for someone wanting to step from a reseller or distributor to a manufacturer or for someone moving from their first role as a distribution account manager.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UK IT distribution market.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
* Manage a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and regular reporting.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service and support
* Attend industry events and conferences to stay up to date on market trends and competitor activity
* Run incentives and training days on distribution sales floors
* Be “go to person” and point of contact for distribution sales related enquires
* Manage distribution targets and ensure action plans are in place to achieve the set targets
