Job Title: Compliance Admin
Type: Contract (initially 3 months)
Location: Bristol
Salary: £15.06 paye with £1.82 holiday pay
Hours: 37 hours

BRC are working closely with a housing provider to recruit a Property Compliance Officer. This role involves overseeing the delivery of property-related safety servicing programmes, ensuring residents remain safe and all statutory landlord compliance requirements are met. You will support Property Safety Inspectors, monitor safety contractor performance, manage access for compliance works, and contribute to statutory reporting.

Duties:

Oversee delivery of safety servicing programmes, including:
Gas safety
Asbestos safety
Mechanical and electrical safety
Water safety
Fire safety
Other areas of statutory property compliance
Ensure all servicing programmes are proactively managed and statutory requirements are met.
Monitor operational performance of safety servicing contractors.
Support weekly/monthly inspections of communal areas.
Support Property Inspectors as required.
Lead on securing access for compliance inspections or servicing, including enforcement where necessary and in line with policies.
Work with Housing and Customer Service teams to ensure recharges are processed correctly.
Identify and report safeguarding or vulnerability concerns.
Provide clear, timely communication to residents regarding appointments and works.
Requirements:

Experience working with management databases and data input
Customer service experience.
Experience monitoring and managing operational performance.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong administrative skills and professional telephone manner.
Ability to prioritise and manage a busy, reactive workload.
Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and residents.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
Adaptable, resilient, detail-focused, motivated, and able to work under pressure.
Experience working within social housing (Desirable)
