Main Purpose
To provide an efficient and effective cleaning service, ensuring high standards of cleaning are delivered and maintained in line with COSH requirements. Playing a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ensure cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or supply shortages to line manager
* Follow all health and safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE and COSHH guidelines
* Wipe down and disinfect kitchen worktops, appliances (e.g., microwave, fridge, kettle), and cupboard doors
* Empty kitchen and office bins, replacing liners as needed
* Sweep, mop, vacuum floors in the kitchen, office, meeting rooms, and reception areas
* Dust and wipe surfaces, skirting boards, shelves, tables desks (if clear), and common touch points (e.g. door handles, light switches)
* Clean glass doors and interior windows (where accessible)
* Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, urinals, and washroom floors
* Replenish toilet rolls, soap dispensers, hand towels

Qualifications/Skills required:
* To be well organised and can develop an effective routine
* Ability to follow verbal & written instructions/guidelines
* Understanding of hygiene standards and cleaning best practices
* Knowledge of COSHH and safe chemical handling
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Good attention to detail and time management
* Reliable and punctual
* Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional environment
