This role is key to the team, making a real positive impact on the lives of the people who attend the service. We aim to create a work environment which continuously develops the team, ensuring the people who attend the service achieve great outcomes and access new meaningful opportunities.
Responsibilities
This role ensures there are timetabled activities which promote friendships, teach independence skills, and involve clients in their local community. Leading a team of Support Workers, ensuring we have fit and proper staff, who provide a service to clients from 8.30am to 7.00pm, four days a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays, on a rota basis.

The Team Leader is responsible for the induction, training, supervision, and development of staff to ensure they are meeting the care and support needs of the clients attending the service.
Qualifications
* Lead Adult Care Worker Level 3 Apprenticeship or equivalent, or willingness to complete
* Level 2 Maths and English or ability to pass an assessment as part of the selection process
* Informal care experience
* Organisational skills and time management of self and others
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* An ability to plan, review and develop packages of support

Please note that as this role is 30hrs p/w, the pro rata salary is £24,392 to £26,000.

Interviews
Interviews will take place in person on Thursday 25 June 2026 at Beeching Park, 10a Beeching Road, Bexhill on Sea, TN39 3LG. Interviews will include client involvement, a workplace assessment and meeting with managers of the service.
