Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday: 15:15 – 17:00
* Friday: 14:45 – 16:30
Salary:
* PAYE: £12.65 per hour
* Umbrella: £16.55 per hour
Are you a reliable and hardworking Cleaner looking for a part-time role within a school environment? We are currently recruiting a School Cleaner on behalf of Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council to provide short-term maternity leave cover.
----------------------------------- What You’ll Do:
* Carry out general cleaning duties across the school building, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas in line with health and safety standards.
* Safely use and store cleaning equipment and materials.
* Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional working environment at all times.
----------------------------------- What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in cleaning (school or commercial environments desirable but not essential).
* Ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and materials.
* A clean and tidy appearance and a strong work ethic.
* Basic experience operating cleaning equipment (training can be provided).
* Reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

* Enhanced DBS check (required before starting) - must subscribe to the DBS update service.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* CV and photo ID.
* 2 years of references/work history.
* Availability to work only during the advertised hours.
