Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our dynamic and expanding team in Gravesend. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a busy and diverse caseload, with exposure to both residential and commercial conveyancing matters. The successful candidate will be supported by secretarial assistance and will work in a collaborative and friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing transactions including:
* Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
* Transfers of equity
* Remortgages
* Title checking, search reports, and enquiries
* Stamp Duty procedures
* Handle leasehold transactions including:
* Lease renewals
* Deeds of surrender
* Grant of new leases
* Regulation of landlord and tenant relationships
* Deal with commercial property transactions such as:
* Business acquisitions and disposals
* Utilities agreements
* Take responsibility for files from instruction to completion
* Engage actively in business development and client relationship management
Requirements
* Extensive experience in residential conveyancing with a good working knowledge of commercial property work
* Ability to manage a busy caseload independently with minimal supervision
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
* Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and client-focused approach
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Technically competent with a pragmatic and solution-driven mindset
