Senior Digital Trading Manager

As a result of our expansion plans, and our continued ongoing success we are seeking a dynamic Senior Digital Trading Manager to be based at our Head Office in Plymouth.
As Senior Trading Manager you will be responsible for driving ecommerce sales for Wilko and Homebase. You will spearhead and assist the Group Head of Digital to implement the trading & promotional strategy across both the Wilko and Homebase websites.
Responsibilities:
1. Taking ownership for delivering the digital trading and promotional strategy, focusing on revenue, conversion, AOV, margin, and profitability. You will regularly analyse performance data to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders across buying, logistics, marketing, finance, and digital teams to align on commercial goals and execution.
3. Responsibility for developing digital category plans and leading group campaign planning, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and securing key products.
4. Ensuring optimal digital stock levels for key categories and campaigns and maintain accurate fulfilment forecasts.
5. Leading and developing the digital trading and merchandising team, promoting a data-driven culture and conducting regular performance reviews.
6. Ownership of homepage and content planning processes, optimizing site search and merchandising to boost conversion and AOV, and contributing to the CRO roadmap.
7. Managing marketplace performance (e.g., Deliveroo), contributing to sales phasing and reforecasting.
Person Specification:
8. Relevant ecommerce trading experience.
9. Highly numerical and able to form a story using data.
10. Influencing skills essential.
11. Line management skills essential.
12. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
13. Ability to drive process and find & deliver the best ways of working.
