I’m currently supporting a listed, internationally operating business that is looking to hire an International Tax Manager into its growing Group Tax function.
The role sits within a collaborative team of circa 10 tax professionals, working closely with stakeholders across tax, treasury, finance, legal and operations. It offers a unique platform for an ambitious international tax professional to make a significant impact within a large, complex global group. The role provides exposure to high‑value cross‑border tax projects and the opportunity to influence the organisation’s corporate structure, financing arrangements and future tax profile.
As a International Tax Manager, you will:
1. Lead complex international restructuring initiatives, including legal entity rationalisations and post‑acquisition integrations, shaping the group’s global operating model.
2. Own multi‑million‑pound projects, collaborating with senior stakeholders across tax, legal, accounting, company secretarial and treasury.
3. Act as a strategic advisor on cross‑border transactions, directly influencing cash tax outcomes and the effective tax rate.
4. Help to drive the organisation’s Pillar Two programme, becoming a recognised subject matter expert across jurisdictions.
5. Manage pan‑European international tax matters, including compliance coordination and work with Big 4 advisors.
6. Oversee key UK tax governance areas, including the Controlled Foreign Company regime and withholding tax processes across a large intercompany loan portfolio.
7. Deliver major international debt rationalisation projects, coordinating external advisors and internal cross‑functional teams across multiple European jurisdictions.
