Are you an experienced Buyer looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a well-established organisation based in Fareham, Hampshire on a fixed-term contract for an initial 3–6 month period.

Competitive salary of £45,000–£50,000 pro rata

Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with suppliers, obtaining quotations and negotiating the best commercial terms.
Raise and manage purchase orders through the company's ERP/MRP system.
Ensure pricing, delivery schedules, technical requirements, and commercial specifications are accurately defined and agreed.
Monitor supplier performance against quality and delivery KPIs.
Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and supplier management activities.
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:
Purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain roles.
Engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, or mechanical environments.
ERP/MRP systems, ideally Syspro or SAP.
Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
Supplier negotiations and performance management.
You'll also possess:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
