Peas is London's specialist talent agency for Creative & Design, Moving Image & Film, and Project Management. We connect outstanding talent with leading brands, agencies, and studios. Our clients range from high-end CGI studios and global creative agencies to premium in-house brand teams and micro motion and production studios.
We're looking for an experienced Talent Agent to take ownership of our established freelance Motion & Moving Image desk. This is a live, billing desk with a freelance bias and existing momentum, with real ambition to grow the permanent side towards a 70/30 split. It's ready for the right person to step in and make it their own.
A key part of this role is judgement. You'll need to decode and read a showreel quickly, forming a fast, accurate read of what an artist can actually demonstrate and matching that precisely to what each brief requires. You'll also keep the desk running with disciplined weekly reporting and confident use of Vincere database and our wider toolset.
This is a 360 role where you'll:
* Manage a live freelance desk end-to-end, from brief to booking to re-booking, inc all associated admin.
* Represent top-tier Motion Design, 3D, VFX, and Moving Image talent, from rising artists to senior leads
* Own account management and commercial growth across existing and new clients
* Handle the commercial detail: negotiating rates and fees, managing availability, and tracking margins
* Build and sustain long-term relationships with clients and talent, leaning on Peas and your own relationships.
* Manage compliancy and freelance engagement terms with confidence
* Scout and onboard talent when needed
What We're Looking For
* Experience of agency-based Motion Design freelance recruitment / talent management.
* Proven 360 desk experience across new business, account management, and delivery
* A sharp creative eye, able to decode a showreel quickly and accurately to pinpoint exactly what an artist can demonstrate and whether they're right for the brief
* Strong commercial instincts and a track record of managing a billing desk
* The drive to maximise an account, not just manage it: proactively introducing new and up-and-coming talent, and taking a genuine interest in growing client teams with permanent hires
* A nose for where the business is, and the instinct to know how to bring it in using your existing network.
* Confidence converting inbound enquiries into live business
* Excellent organisational skills (resource management, bookings, scheduling, or agency recruitment all transfer well)
* Comfortable working to a weekly reporting rhythm and confident across the usual tools, including our ATS (Vincere)
* The self-motivation and discipline to thrive in a remote-first setting
