Sales Director - Soft Services/FM Sector
£90,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus
Hybrid - London (with travel)
Are you an experienced, senior level sales person with a track record of identifying and converting high level FM and Soft Services contracts?
Can you build and manage high performing sales teams while creating and implementing a winning sales strategy?
As Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing the national sales strategy and securing new business across hard and soft FM services, while building and developing a successful sales team. This is a senior leadership role, with significant influence on the future of the Security, Cleaning and FM division.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead growth
– Develop and execute a winning sales strategy across the UK security and FM soft services market.
* Build and inspire a team
– Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team of BDM's, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and success.
* Drive new business
– Identify opportunities, lead tenders and bids, and secure major contracts across public and private sectors.
* Shape relationships
– Build strong partnerships with key clients, ensuring exceptional service and exploring cross-sell opportunities.
* Deliver results
– Set ambitious targets, monitor performance, and report commercial outcomes to the senior leadership team.
* Collaborate cross-functionally
– Work closely with Operations, Marketing, and Finance to ensure our solutions meet client needs and deliver on our growth ambitions.
Desirable skills and experience:
* Proven track record in senior sales leadership within the security/Commercial Cleaning/FM soft services sector.
* Demonstrable success in building, developing, and managing BDM teams that achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Strong understanding of manned guarding, mobile patrol, CCTV monitoring, commercial cleaning and FM services.
* Demonstrated success in bidding, tendering, and winning large-scale contracts (public/private sectors).
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and operational awareness.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Experience managing multi-million-pound sales pipelines and leading cross-functional teams.
