About The Role
In your role as a Housekeeping Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC One, you'll have a wonderful opportunity to give back to those individuals.
As a Housekeeping Assistant, your responsibilities include maintaining a clean, hygienic, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. Your attention to detail will be reflected in the environment you help create. Whether managing the cleaning rota or actively participating in cleaning tasks, you will do so with kindness and care.
HC One is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant with experience, although training will be provided. You should have excellent time management and organizational skills, along with positive energy and a natural ability to get along with people. Effective communication skills, including listening and instructing, are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their roles and undertake additional training as needed. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
We will provide full training, offering a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will have access to a variety of benefits to support your well-being and career development, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate based on experience and qualifications
* Company pension scheme
