Dosh has an exciting opportunity available for a Financial Advocate to join our team based in Gloucester?????. You will join us on a part-time, permanent basis. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of £20,205.83 per annum.\n\nDosh is a not-for-profit company that supports people with a learning disability to have more control and more independence over their money. Dosh is a specialist company within the Thera Group and provides support to people with a learning disability in England, Scotland and Wales. The company was set up in 2007.\n\nThe Financial Advocate Role\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen in Gloucester for a Named Financial Advocate to act in the role of appointee and financial advocate for people with a learning disability.\n\nMoney is essential for so much of everyday life and how we use money can be a very personal thing.
As an advocate you will support people to manage their finances. You will get to know individuals and help them, their support team and family use their money to achieve their goals and live the life they choose. You will also be responsible for managing their benefit claims and budget and arranging bill payments.
