Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen environment. Duties
* Assist in food preparation and meal assembly, adhering to established recipes and standards
* Support cooking activities under supervision, ensuring timely delivery of dishes
* Help with food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
* Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and organising supplies for cooking
* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
* Serve meals to guests or staff in accordance with hygiene standards
* Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
* Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Qualifications
* Previous experience in catering, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is advantageous but not essential
* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills
* Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
* Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail
