Gas Engineer
We’re recruiting for Gas Engineers on a contract basis at VIVID, based in our Basingstoke office. You’ll cover Basingstoke and the surrounding North Hampshire area on a full‑time, permanent basis, working 39 hours per week. Whilst we’ll try to keep you local, you may need to travel to and work from any of our other sites across Hampshire to help other teams when needed.
You’ll be provided with a van and fuel card for travel, and will participate in the emergency on‑call rota. You’ll also have access to a performance‑related bonus scheme based on productivity.

Role Overview
As a gas engineer, you’ll carry out repairs, maintenance and servicing of domestic boilers and appliances in line with gas safety regulations. You’ll identify faults and test controls to ensure they’re in full working order, complete gas safety checks, and maintain necessary paperwork. You’ll interact with customers to help them understand how to use their heating and appliances, so good communication skills are key.
Required qualifications and skills:
* CCN1, CEN, HTR, unvented and CPA technical qualifications (proof accepted at interview)
* Essential electrics knowledge beneficial
* Full, clean, current driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
This role is subject to a satisfactory licence check and a basic disclosure check.
