We are working with a leading Food Manufacturer that is looking to appoint a motivated Operational Excellence Specialist to join their team and play a key role in shaping continuous improvement across their sites.

What you’ll be doing:
* Support NPD trials, defining and improving machinery settings for safety, quality, and performance.
* Provide training and coaching to teams on standards, machinery use, and continuous improvement practices.
* Analyse performance data, yields, and losses, producing reports and supporting mass balance studies.
* Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, SMED, 5S, Root Cause Analysis, and Value Stream Mapping.
* Monitor and improve KPIs through data-led initiatives, benchmarking, and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) analysis.
* Support operational teams in problem solving, corrective actions, and efficiency projects.
* Maintain and develop Power BI dashboards, Excel tools, and databases to ensure robust data integrity and effective performance monitoring.
* Participate in the integration of new equipment, processes, and technologies.
* Provide leadership on projects, champion CI culture, and deliver training across the site.
What we’re looking for:
* 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, within food manufacturing or operational excellence.
* Six Sigma Yellow Belt is desirable
* Strong background in project management and process improvement.
* Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office and particularly Excel (power queries, pivot tables, KPI dashboards).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
* A collaborative, positive attitude with the ability to coach, lead and engage teams.
* Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and occasionally work outside of normal hours.
