London (Hybrid – 2 to 3 days in our office / nurseries), 9-12 month maternity contract.
Lead recruitment marketing that matters
At London Early Years Foundation (LEYF), we’re proud of our education and care across 40+ nurseries in London. We’re the best-rated nursery group in the city - and we’re also a charitable social enterprise, reinvesting every penny back into our children, families and teams.
We’re looking for a Recruitment Marketing Manager to join us on a maternity cover contract. This is a delivery-led role for someone who knows how to run campaigns, manage stakeholders, and get results - all while keeping things warm, inclusive and human.
You’ll deliver on our recruitment marketing strategy, manage our digital approach, and help us attract brilliant people for both our nurseries and central office. It’s a fast-paced, collaborative environment where we’re building as we go - so flexibility, creativity and resilience are key.
What you’ll be doing...
Lead campaigns that attract great people
1. Deliver our recruitment marketing calendar – ensuring urgent hiring needs are met whilst taking forward planned longer-term projects
2. Manage our digital approach, including people managing our new Digital Marketing Specialist
3. Write compelling job adverts and manage great ROI on job board spend
4. Execute bold, inclusive campaigns that support our diversity goals and employer brand
5. Work on projects like our new careers site, new year campaign, and EVP
6. Support early careers initiatives - from apprenticeships to school and college outreach
7. Create content that showcases why people choose LEYF - beyond just benefits
8. Collaborate with senior stakeholders including our Head of Recruitment
9. Keep us on track with budgets, timelines and performance
We’re looking for you to…
10. Be delivery-led, results-driven and like taking ownership
11. Know recruitment marketing inside out - with campaign and employer brand experience
12. Be comfortable working across digital channels and managing digital talent
13. Be a creative thinker in how the role is delivered
14. Collaborate brilliantly - kind, supportive, resilient and confident
15. Pivot quickly and work flexibly - we’re building the aeroplane while flying it
16. Understand ROI on job boards and ensure we optimise spend
17. Be curious about new tools and trends - including how AI can refine content
18. Be not too senior to deliver, and not afraid to challenge with courtesy and care
You won’t need to overhaul everything - it’s about improving and maintaining what’s working well, while helping us move forward. If you’re a campaigner at heart, with a passion for recruitment marketing and a knack for making things happen, we’d love to hear from you.
Why you’ll love it here...
19. Be part of something bigger: We’re serious about children, community and changing the system
20. Be trusted to deliver: You’ll have ownership and space to make an impact
21. Be part of a newly formed high performing team
22. Flexibility: Hybrid working and a warm, family-friendly culture
23. Save on childcare: 70% nursery discount for your children or grandchildren
24. Recharge properly: 26 days’ holiday (including Christmas closure), plus your birthday off, and bank holidays
25. Good benefits: 7% employer pension, wellbeing support, discounts, and team events.
