The Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is advantageous but not essential). You will plan, assess, and support students to achieve their full potential in line with the national curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver inspiring and effective English lessons
* Plan and mark work in line with school policies
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback
* Contribute to the wider school community where required
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
* Proven experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
* Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A passion for teaching and supporting young people
