Main duties of the job
* Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals with behaviours that challenge
* Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
* Train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies
* Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice
* Provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
* Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting interventions where necessary
* Support referral assessments and contribute to funding/clinical justifications

Person Specification
Experience
* 1. Working towards or holding a PBS qualification
* 2. Experience in forensic settings or community mental health
Qualifications
* 1. A recognised degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1)
* 2. Experience working with individuals with autism, mental health needs, or learning disabilities
* 3. A strong understanding of PBS and person-centred planning
* 4. Excellent report writing and communication skills
* 5. Ability to work independently and across multiple sites
* 6. Driving licence and access to a vehicle (required)
