Manufacturing Engineer - Cwmbran In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England. The purpose of this role is to support New Product Introduction by contributing to the build, development and validation of mechanical components and assemblies. You will work closely with design engineering and operations teams to ensure new products are successfully brought into production on time, to cost and to a high quality standard. Candidate skills & requirements -HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline -Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing engineering role -Experience working in a manufacturing or industrialisation environment -Strong ability to interpret 2D drawings and 3D CAD data -Knowledge and application of lean manufacturing principles -Good problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset -Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams -Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS applications and ERP systems
