Our award-winning client, a leading name in contract packing, is seeking experienced Team Leaders to join their fast-paced production site in Featherstone. These temp-to-perm roles offer long-term career growth in a dynamic and expanding environment.
Shifts: Rotating weekly – 6am–2pm & 2pm–10pm
Days: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as required
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead, coach, and motivate your production team to achieve performance targets
2. Ensure all finished goods meet client specifications (SPI)
3. Drive production efficiency and meet hourly/daily output plans
4. Monitor workflow using the internal management system (Visions)
5. Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, quality, and hygiene standards
6. Keep accurate digital and paper records
7. Support internal and external hygiene audits
8. Promote GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and clean-as-you-go principles
9. Provide team feedback and liaise with agency controllers
10. Set the standard as a role model for best practices
11. Monitor and reduce waste wherever possible
12. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
13. Take ownership of your development through training and hands-on experience
What We’re Looking For:
14. Supervisory experience in a production or packing environment, ideally in food or FMCG
15. Hands-on, proactive, and ready to lead by example
16. Strong communication and team management skills
