As Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for the automation and machine build of custom equipment, with tasks such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated systems and equipment. What we will ask of you: As Mechatronics Technician will be responsible for the automation and machine build of custom equipment, with tasks such as maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of automated systems and equipment. This role includes electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems, as well as robotics and control systems. The technician will work as part of an excellent team to ensure the efficient and safe operation of production lines and other automated processes. What we are looking for: Assist in building state of art machinery from the ground up. Perform preventative maintenance on mechatronic systems and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues. Wiring control panels and commissioning of subsystems but not limited to, i.e VSD, PLC's, Vision systems Diagnose and resolve issues with robotics and control systems. Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve problems. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Document maintenance and repair activities. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve system performance. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures. Train other personnel on the operation and maintenance of equipment. Essential Criteria HNC / HND and/or degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent Minimum of 3 years experience in similar role Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Experience with robotics and control systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documents. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desirable: Experience with robotics and control systems. Certification in mechatronics, automation, or industrial maintenance (e.g., Siemens, FANUC, or Allen-Bradley training). What will we do for you?
