Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading and well-established food manufacturing organisation supplying major UK retail customers. The business continues to grow and is now seeking to appoint a Production Manager (Night Shift) to lead production operations and support senior leadership on site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Manager or Senior Supervisor looking to take the next step within a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

Your day to day:
As Production Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of production operations, ensuring maximum efficiency, product quality and compliance with food safety standards.
You will lead by example on the factory floor, driving performance while ensuring your team adheres to company policies and procedures.
* Lead and manage production teams to achieve daily output and efficiency targets
* Ensure compliance with Food Safety, HACCP, Quality and Health & Safety standards
* Maintain audit readiness and lead internal and external audits
* Manage and resolve audit findings, customer complaints and process issues
* Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions
* Monitor and drive performance using KPIs and OEE measures
* Plan labour and manage rotas, attendance and holiday scheduling
* Oversee stock control, yield management and waste reduction
* Manage packaging materials and labelling processes
* Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately
* Support training, development and performance management of staff
* Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability and "do the right thing" approach
* Work cross-functionally to identify and mitigate production and food safety risks
* Utilise internal systems such as AX, Autocoding and Sparc to support operations
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role within food manufacturing
* Strong leadership and people management experience
* Level 3 Food Safety certification
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Level 3 Health & Safety qualification
* GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths
