Imagine building software that directly shapes a breakthrough point of care diagnostic device, and then seeing it roll off a manufacturing line you helped prepare, for the first time. If that sounds exciting, you might be the Embedded Software Engineer we’re looking for. We’re a small, focused team of three software engineers, working alongside biologists, and product designers developing next generation diagnostic technology. We’re taking our platform from late stage development into full production, then rapidly iterating with new features and capabilities. This is a rare chance to join at the moment when engineering decisions truly define the product, the culture, and the company. Requirements In this role, you’ll work across the entire product lifecycle: embedded C/C++ development for a safety critical medical system early stage engineering to get the product manufacturing ready developing new features and NextGen capabilities opportunities to shape system level architecture as the product grows You won’t be boxed into one corner of the stack, your fingerprints will be on everything. And if you bring networking or cybersecurity experience, you’ll be able to help us build secure communication capabilities into the platform, an exciting roadmap ahead. If you’re an Embedded Software Engineer with strong C/C++ skills and experience (or genuine interest) in safety critical or medical software, we’d love to talk. You’ll love this role if you want: 1. Impact. Your code is directly tied to a physical product and real world outcomes. 2. Variety. No two weeks look the same; you’ll move between prototyping, debugging, testing, design discussions, and feature development. 3. Growth. This is ideal for someone with a couple of years of embedded experience who’s hungry for more responsibility. 4. Cross functional collaboration. Work side by side with biology and product design teams to bring ideas to life. 5. A scaleup environment. High impact, fast pivots, and plenty of room to influence the engineering culture. 6. A mature, informal environment. Focused, friendly, and low-ego.
