Sherwood Forest Hospitals are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Midwife to join our traditional community midwifery team working within teams in Mansfield, Sherwood, Ashfield or Newark. The role includes a mixture of working hour patterns and nights on call to support the needs of the women in our care.
As a Community Midwife, you will support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and evidence-based woman-centred care, delivered in various models.
You will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a supportive and empowering environment. As a team member, you will be professional, reliable, compassionate, and safe, with excellent communication skills and a progressive attitude towards continuous improvement of patient care through evidence-based practice.
At Sherwood Forest Hospitals, we have a vibrant multidisciplinary team providing high-quality maternity care to around 4,500 women annually (with a birth rate of approximately 3,200). Our recent CQC visit in May 2020 rated the Trust as ‘Good’ overall and ‘Outstanding’ for maternity care.
