Job Description Sales Representative
Shortlisting for candidates will start on the 08.09.25
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of our customers, products/services, competition
Responsibility for trade counter sales always providing excellent customer service, dealing with customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way
Supporting general customer enquiries relating to trade, B2B and B2C, Internet, Telesales and CASH sales - Taking orders over the phone and in person at the trade counter, entering onto the sales order system, picking, delivery noting, invoicing where necessary
Dealing with customers/clients inquires, complaints, disputes over the telephone
Supporting the sales team in collection customer feedback/reviews Trustpilot
Taking Cash, Credit/Debit Card and BACs payments from business and personal customers
Support sales team with contacting suppliers/couriers regarding missing/late deliveries
Supporting to sales team where necessary to improve sales trade conferences/meetings
Assisting with stock control/audits, quality and general inbound/outbound logistics where necessary supporting the warehouse, receiving sales orders, preparing sales orders and relocating products in the warehouse/trade showroom
Supporting sales and warehouse team with in-bound stock when overseas stock is imported (manual handling training will be offered)
Organising stock, maintaining goods in/returns system where necessary in order to fulfil new and existing sales orders with least amount of to follow orders as possible
Ensuring trade counter and warehouse is clean and tidy, abiding with H&S regulations
Updating internal systems and databases where necessary
Any ad hoc duties directed by the finance and the sales team
Other ad hoc duties necessary to support the admin & office team general filing/record keeping/ IT
Job Overview, Skills and Experiences Required:
Able to work under instruction, independently and as part of a team
Trustworthy, reliable and good attention to detail
Sound decision-making skills and the ability to plan and prioritise
Attention to detail and computer literacy Sage 50, Outlook, MS Word, Ms Excel
Ability to deal with customers over the phone professionally
Possess the physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy items
Manual handling, working from heights and working with ladders experience (training will be provided)
Ability to work within a warehouse and logistics environment
Computer-Aided Design (CAD) knowledge would be helpful
Working Hours Monday - Friday - 8:30am 5:00pm
Work Arrangement: This is a fully on-site role attendance at the workplace is required every day. Remote work or work-from-home is not available for this position.
