The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Young Peoples Team Leader within our Cheshire West and Chester Team., Part of a wider management team, you will be responsible for leading the team who work with young people, supporting staff and those who use our service.
Key duties required for the role include:
* excellent management and leadership skills.
* responsible for the line management of a Young People Practitioners.
* holding a small case load delivering high quality substance misuse interventions to young people across Cheshire West & Chester.
* deliver effective early intervention and prevention work.
* liaise and network with a wide range of professionals working with young people across Cheshire West & Chester maintaining effective partnerships and working agreements to improve the outcomes for young people.
* safeguard those that come in contact with our services including staff.
The Service
Via Cheshire West & Chester Young Persons Service is a vibrant substance misuse service, creative and passionate. Our teams work collaboratively to provide valuable support to young people within Cheshire West.
We are an outreach service working out in the community, with 1-2-1 key working sessions in schools, college’s and meet with young people children in centres/school etc.
Location
The core hours of this role will be Monday - Friday 9am until 5pm (with flexibility available) and there may be some occasional out of hours work.
