Group Financial Controller £90,000 to £120,000 plus package Leyland Highly Acquisitive PE backed BusinessAxon Moore are pleased to be working with a new CFO in the Leyland area to hire their new Group Financial Controller. This business is private equity backed and the CFO is looking for a no.2 who will see them through on their full cycle through to exit. This opportunity will provide an ambitious and technically focussed candidate, the opportunity to gain the exposure necessary to progress to FD or junior CFO over a 3-5 year period. A full detailed job specification will be shared with relevant candidates but the role will have full ownership for group statutory accounting, consolidation, board reporting and all group tax work. They will be responsible for developing a new finance function from scratch (fit to take them through an exit in a few years) which will require new systems, teams and structures. They will take ownership for building out the necessary structures to incorporate a further string of M&A activity, and will a play significant role in the business sale process in the future.To be considered, candidates need demonstrable experience closely linked to this role, i.e. another FC position in a similar PE backed business covering stats and tax, ideally with M&A (desirable) and proven track record of progression in their career to date.
