The Role
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Secondary School LAMDA Teacher to lead after-school sessions with students aged 11–16. You'll be preparing students for their graded LAMDA exams while building their confidence, performance and communication skills.
Fixed teaching hours (term-time):
* Monday: 3:20 – 4:50 pm
* Wednesday: 3:20 – 4:50 pm
* Thursday: 3:20 – 4:50 pm
Requirements
* Experience teaching LAMDA classes
* A valid Enhanced DBS dated within the last 3 years or on the update service
* Commitment to safeguarding and child protection (training provided)
* Friendly, professional and reliable teaching approach
* Passionate about drama education and inspiring young people
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging LAMDA lessons
* Prepare students for exams in line with the LAMDA syllabus
* Supervise safe dismissal at the end of class
* Liaise with school staff where needed
* Keep safeguarding and first-aid logs up to date
* Attend paid teacher training sessions (minimum 3 per year)
Location
Secondary schools across Twickenham and Richmond.
Pay
£30 per hour, with additional opportunities for holiday workshops, after-school clubs and LAMDA work as our school grows.
Start Date
September 2025 (or as soon as possible).
