The ideal candidate for the role of Accounts Assistant would be studying towards AAT and looking to gain valuable experience in a busy Finance Team.
A ‘Hybrid’ working model applies with 3 days per week on site.
Key responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant include:
1. Daily banking duties including bank reconciliations.
2. Balance sheet data preparation.
3. Prepare VAT return data.
4. Preparation and posting of journals, accruals, and prepayments.
5. Assisting with month-end and year-end processes.
6. Inter-Company recharges and reconciliations.
7. Providing information to external auditors as required.
8. Extensive use of Excel spreadsheets.
9. Reconciling and processing Payroll journals.
Skills & experience required:
* AAT Level 2 (minimum commenced).
* Intermediate Excel skills.
* SAP experience preferable.
* Ability to think clearly, deliver quickly and accurately.
* Persistent, resourceful, self-motivated, and able to work to deadlines.
