We currently have an exciting opportunity for an IT Engineer to join our central team at Prospere Learning Trust. This Grade 4, permanent post works 35 hours per week, all year round, with a starting full‑time salary of £26,403. The role requires a suitable qualification, a full driving licence, basic understanding of computer network fundamentals and computer components, and a keen interest in IT. Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication and customer‑service skills are also required.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist technical IT support across Trust academies, including development and maintenance of infrastructure/resources and general support to staff and pupils.
* Collaborate with all staff and parents/carers to support student well‑being and promote the values of the Trust and each school.
* Under the direction of the Head of IT Services, support installation, maintenance, availability and security of the Trust‑wide network, hardware and software.
* Contribute to the development of and support provided by the IT Services Team across all schools through a highly effective service.
* Understand IT’s role in safeguarding and implement measures to support a safe working environment for staff and students.
