Job Description
This role is available on a part-time or full-time basis. We will also consider applicants seeking a Fixed Term Contract. All work will require on-site presence at our Shirebrook HQ.
As a Commercial Lawyer at Frasers Group, you will review, negotiate, draft, and advise on a wide range of supplier and business partnership contracts across all areas of the Group's businesses, including:
* Commercial, supply chain, concessions, events, marketing, e-commerce, franchising, licensing, IT & technology, outsourcing, and finance.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Handling commercial disputes and litigation.
* Providing guidance on marketing and promotional activities, including CAP code compliance for advertisements, promotions, competitions, and product packaging, and drafting associated T&Cs.
* Supporting the e-commerce team on legal aspects of digital marketing and website operations.
* Managing wholesale contracts and concession agreements with suppliers.
* Handling general IP work, including licensing of own brands and third-party licensing.
* Advising and supporting the customer service team on customer complaints, disputes, and small claims.
* Assisting with larger M&A transactions, conducting due diligence, drafting SPA/APAs, and post-completion support.
* Liaising with enforcement agencies and regulatory bodies such as the ICO, ASA, and Trading Standards.
* Instructing and managing external lawyers for specialized or external work.
* Supporting senior legal team members and supervising junior staff.
